I booked The Bandeoke Experience pre pandemic with the plan to have my 40th birthday summer 2021. Unfortunately due to extended lockdowns then trying to organise availability for both bands I had booked the cater etc we had to postpone the party twice. I was tired of set backs that were out of all our control so I postponed the party to summer 2022. Ross who manages/organises the band was fantastic throughout, supportive and understanding of the situation and happy to help as much as he could, in which was was probably an incredibly difficult time for the band. Fast forward to summer 2022, the party finally goes ahead and the band were awesome! Great musicians, very patient with the children, very patient with the adults! From the ease of booking and finance, to planning the event, Ross totally understood what we needed as we switched from a traditional hotel based Prom to a more funky, festival-ball vibe in the school Hall. I should not have worried, the Bandeoke Experience had it all covered and some! So much so, the students said we should book for next year and the Year11s are already planning what to sing at their Yr13 event!

If you want an event where every student can shine then I thoroughly recommend the Bandeoke Experience. Like all couples getting married you worry about people having a good time and getting on the dance floor. The opposite happened thanks to Ross and the team. From the first song there wasn't enough room on the dance floor and so many people wanted to sing with a live band we had to extend the night. In truth we wanted to extend all night! The booking communication was great and they can play anything! The equipment and sound was fantastic but it is the band members that make it. Whilst we were excited and kind of had an idea of how live karaoke could work, The Bandeoke Experience found a way to surprise and delight us and our guests! The evening was pretty flawless from start to finish. The band were great in helping us sort out the logistics, pick songs, work with the guests at the party and….which is important….they rocked! We were a little worried that there would be reluctance to get up and sing….no chance. Literally after the first song (the birthday boy+wife) the songs and singers flowed. Each brilliantly played by the band, with support, tips and cheerleading from the group as well. The kit used is simple to follow, the lyrics there for those who may not know them by heart, and the experience overall was top drawer. Particularly the birthday boy was delighted to be able to sing his favourite song in front of friends and family, learnt by the band as a surprise, and played immaculately. He fancies going on tour with the band now!

The band really helped to keep the songs flowing, the standard of musicianship was top drawer and in many ways for those up on the stage it was like playing a gig, not doing karaoke, which is frankly brilliant. We could not have asked for more from the band. There was a song for everyone….but like anything probably we could have sung on for so much longer!

We wanted to thank you again Ross for how organised, honest and helpful you were when planning this event. Your tips, feedback and advice really went a long way to making the night a success.

"...I wanted to go into my 40's with a bang - and you nailed it for me!

The Bandeoke Experience have a really wide range of songs and sounded really good on the demo’s on their website, but were even better live! Really friendly and helpful when I started dealing with Ross; overall communications were excellent - quick and helpful, and prepared to be flexible. We lost a bit of time at the start as the venue manager was late opening, but they played an extra half hour to make up for this. Everyone who interacted with them were very complimentary and everyone has been going on about how amazing the whole evening was.

You guys were amazing, can you pass my sincere thanks on to the rest of the band. My memory is sketchy towards the end of the evening, but I hope you enjoyed it as much as me and my friends did. I wanted to go into my 40's with a bang - and you nailed it for me!

A big thank you from Carol and I for a great evening on Friday. Don't think I have seen such participation/reaction from an audience for a long time. Think you have a very marketable idea - a band is much better than a recorded bit of music in so many ways - better sound, can interact with the singer and the singer gets prompted!!
All in all a memorable night so thank you, to all those who organised the do plus of course the vocalists.
